Residents of Tsirang in Bhutan have been showing their gratitude to frontline workers by donating edible items, vegetables, livestock products, hand sanitizers, and firewood. Those contributions represent a noticeable step ahead as counted as one of the first donations addressed to the frontline professionals in the country.
The community of Damphu, the capital district of Bhutan, also provided financial aid to the construction of a quarantine facility with 23 beds near the Damphu hospital. Thanks to the district solidarity, Tsirang has not reported any single case of COVID-19.
