Magic from Home by the Abracadabra Foundation in Spain During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Abracadabra Foundation is an NGO created to provide support to hospitalized people through magic offering entertainment to vulnerable populations. Their actions are based on spectacles and specialized magic workshops for each collective they are working with.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, they created an initiative that began in March 2020, where under the slogan “Stay at home with magic” they offered free live sessions of their shows through the Instagram platform, to continue to enable support to all children in Spanish hospitals. From March 17th, 2020, Monday to Friday for the next two months, the solidarity magicians of Abracadabra gave away the best of their smiles, which helped the young and elderly vulnerable group cope with the situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
