An initiative led by a local museum in Northern Ireland created a time capsule to be open 24 years from now. The capsule contains a mask, a clean rapid lateral flow test, a poster with social guidelines during the pandemic, and various photographs were gathered to depict the life during the Coronavirus outbreak. The goal of the project, led by the Museum of Derry, is to give future generations insights into the impacts of the pandemic on people’s daily lives.
The collected objects were part of a project called “Dear Diary”, launched on 2020 when the pandemic started. The project’s intent was to document the journey during the COVID-19 pandemic and its hardships.
