Inspiring Women Leadership To Support The COVID-19 Pandemic Response in South-Africa

A team of volunteers from the Muizenberg Muizenberg Community Action Network (CAN) inspires every woman to come together in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, by leading frontline activities. Since the pandemic started, the crisis effect has not been easy to manage; especially in a context where livelihood opportunities become limited, gender-based violence,and food insecurity have risen.

Muizenberg Community Action Network has been working in building resilience through supporting the project and alleviating the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Importantly, the CAN has also been connecting with people in the community to optimize the much needed support during this difficult time.
