ARTIEM Solidarity Room and Crownfunding Investment

To support those facing socio-economic hardships since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, all the Spanish hotels are now capable of offering a room to families in need. The Madrid Hotel Business Association has recently partnered with the Spanish Cáritas, making it possible to offer Solidarity Rooms. The initiative aims to improve the quality of life of many people facing poverty and social exclusion, especially those receiving aid from Cáritas.

The Artiem Hotel Group aimed at sustainable prosperity and making a positive impact on society has allocated 100% of the booking price during the first lockdown weekend to Cáritas. Furthermore, the hotel created the Solidarity Room in all the hotels for the entire year. Since the beginning of the project, more than 5 thousand vulnerable families were assisted and more than €53,000 were raised.

Artiem has also supported other social projects such as cooperating with the Triodos Bank, which facilitates Matchfunding and Crowdfunding. The raised funds are used to finance local projects with a high diversity impact: agriculture, social, and environmental.
