Sacyr, S. A. is a Spanish company based in Madrid, specializing in infrastructures mainly in the construction field, infrastructure concessions, and service provider segments.
Between July and September 2020, Sacyr delivered 200 weekly menus and non-perishable food to families with few resources in Madrid (Spain).
They have also carried out other important actions to deal with this crisis in two of the most affected hospitals in Madrid: the Infanta Cristina University Hospital (Parla) and the Henares University Hospital (Coslada). Among the actions carried out: an increase of more than 100 beds to meet the growth in patients admissions, the purchase of numerous equipment and reinforcement of the staff, and free TV in all rooms of the hospitals.
In addition, they have collaborated in Latin America, where, among other actions, they participated in the donation to a field hospital at the Health Institute of Bucaramanga (Isabu). In Peru, they donated 900 food kits to the most vulnerable families. Finally, in Mexico, they joined Ayuda en Acción for the purchase and delivery of food and personal hygiene kits for the community of Singuilucan, in the state of Hidalgo.
Sacyr currently continues to face the global health crisis from all its areas and in all the countries in which it is present, offering help to guarantee the continuity of hospital services.
