The College of Science at Misan University in Iraq launched an initiative to produce medical sanitizers by the local industry. The University employs academic expertise and is having these scientists produce medical sterilizers and distribute them free of charge to the security forces and to a number of citizens as a contribution to the safety of the people of the province from the risk of infection with the COVID-19.

The campaign was represented by the participation of many specialized teaching staff from the Faculty of Science, in addition to the volunteering of a number of students from the Department of Chemistry to produce and fill bottles of medical sterilizers with chemical materials and compounds according to international ratios and standards.
