The Gaza Strip, in Palestine, is being seriously affected by the coronavirus outbreak on top of the current complex situation in the region. With minimal testing and social distancing almost impossible in Gaza’s densely populated, poverty-stricken neighborhoods, hygiene items are essential to help stop the effects of the pandemic. Considering that situation, the organisation Rebuilding Alliance launched an initiative to raise funds to buy masks, soap, hand sanitizer, and food for the region. Other medical supplies such as medical gowns, gloves, medicine, Rapid COVID-19 test kits, PPE’s, and oximeters, are also much needed and will be sent to Non-Governmental hospitals in Gaza to help the local medical sector, struggling to serve local populations.
