The Non-profit Global Giving Helps in Chile Fundraise for a Project from “Cultiva,” to Support 350 Families with Knowledge and Tools in Growing their Own Food
The non-profit organisation Global Giving helps support other non-profits in developing their own projects by connecting them to donors and companies. It is supporting an initiative from Cultiva, which provides Chilean families in vulnerable communities with the knowledge and tools to grow their own food. Communities facing food insecurity caused by COVID-19 pandemic will be trained to plan and build urban food gardens, to grow fruit and vegetables. The communities can also learn together and share their experiences. These families will receive training on how to use these gardens to sustainably produce food during the pandemic, providing a community-based solution to their difficulties for the future.
