AGREA International

During the COVID-19 pandemic, AGREA offers a new and innovative way of “moving” food: straight from farmers to dinner tables. Food producers are having a hard time bringing their harvest to markets. With the great risk that significant volumes of food go to waste. AGREA’s Move Food Initiative, mobilises food producers and ensures that their harvest gets to homes safely, despite the logistical challenges.

Brazil has many places where the majority of the inhabitants are elderly people. My neighborhood is one of these places. With this in mind, me and other young adults in the neighbourhood decided to create tools in order to help elderly people. Sometimes people may think that they need a lot of resources to do a lot of good, but there is so much that you can do with a little bit of organisation and team work.
