As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Omani youth have launched an initiative through their company, “Wareed”, which aims to deliver monthly medications and prescriptions to homes for free for a month, without the need to go to the hospital. This initiative supports especially patients suffering from chronic diseases who visit the hospital periodically, such as patients with diabetes, hypertension and heart diseases.

 Wareed Company is a digital platform under an Omani youth administration that provides health care to the clients, by delivering medicines and prescriptions to their homes.

It is an investment of the Oman Technology Fund, a platform that helps provide drug delivery service in Oman, and was established by a team of Omani youth.
